San Francisco’s Transgender Film Festival was launched more than ten years ago and seems to be one of those things (like wine, like great lovers) that just gets better with time. It’s that time again.

TrannyFest 2008 launches on November 6th with a music and live performance night and then is followed up by two nights of back-to-back transgender films from both local and international filmmakers. I don’t know the details about what films are playing but I’m willing to be there’s going to be at least a little bit of sexy in some of them.

I do know that performers at the November 6th event include genderqueer spoken word artist (and more) Storm Florez, hot trans-rock filmmaker Shawna Virago and for-adult-eyes-only Twincest.

It’s happening over at Mama Calizo’s Voice Factory, tickets are only $8 at the door.
