At the blog carnival
I really love participating in blog carnivals as one way to spread the word about the sexy San Francisco stuff I’m writing about here. The obvious reason for this, of course, is that it brings new readers to this blog. However, it’s also really great to see the posts that I think are great here find a home among lists of other posts that are similarly great from other blogs.
That’s precisely how I feel about being part of today’s Fabulous Festival! My recent post on some great San Francisco artists and designers with Etsy shops was chosen to be one of ten terrific fashion posts that are each really great reads.
Other great posts in this blog carnival collection are on topics as varied as dressing classy, shopping green, understanding the fashion business and wearing the right shoes for work or for politics (as well as the right clothes). There are also tips on donating clothes and doing prom make-up this year. But my favorite must-read post from this carnival is an in-depth interview with Alix, The Cherry Blossom Girl.
These aren’t San Francisco specific posts but there’s some sexiness to a few of them and they’re really good reads for anyone who is into fashion.

Thanks for submitting to the Fabulous! Festival — and for spreading the word! I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed the other posts so much! I definitely enjoyed reading about (and window shopping) the Etsy shops you featured.
