Saturday’s Sexy Seven Things to Do in SF

  1. Disco Fundraiser. Under One Roof is a great non-profit organization that raises money for AIDS organizations. They’re raising money tonight with a disco-themed dance party in the old Tower Records space. Suggested donation to get in is just $5 and you get a free drink ticket for your spending. Starts at 8 and includes a silent auction.
  2. Under the Big Top Art Opening at Femina Potens. Sexy circus performance art is on display and the opening reception promises to have contortionists, interactive light shows and other fun stuff. It’s from 7-9.
  3. Catwalk ‘09 at SOMarts Gallery. This is a transgender modeling event that features the usual stuff like swimwear and evening wear competitions. Show starts at 7 and tickets are $35.
  4. Liz Grant’s Deja Wince Comedy Show at The Clubhouse. Sexy Bay Area comedienne Liz Granthas a one-woman stand-up show about love and life etc. etc. that costs $25 and starts at 5pm.
  5. Roller Derby at Fort Mason. Roller derby may be an all-ages sporting event but I happen to think it’s kind of hot. Today at eight the Oakland Outlaws face off against the Richmond Wrecking Belles in a bout that costs $17 at the door.
  6. Kitten on the Keys at Mama Calizo’s. This is the last weekend of the cabaret burlesque star’s solo show called Does This Piano Make My Ass Look Big? Show starts at 8; tickets cost $20.
  7. Style Seminar at The Design Guild SF. Learn how to sexify yourself from 1:30 to 4 today at a style seminar called Sweep Him Off His Feet. Features make-up and fashion tips from the pros.
