Sunday’s Sexy SF Link Love
I’ve been reading a lot of different blogs this week but here are the posts that are relevant to being sexy and / or being in San Francisco and that really caught my eye between last Sunday and today:
- Lady in Red. This post over at Heartless Doll offers a fun look at a scientific study which proves that women wearing red are more attractive to men simply for the fact that they are wearing red. We already knew red was sexy but it’s nice that science says so too.
- Standing O! Okay, so I’ll just come right out and admit that I don’t like Oprah which is not something that you’re supposed to admit apparently, since everyone I say it to is like “how can you not like Oprah, she does so many great things!” I just don’t; she rubs me the wrong way. But that doesn’t mean that she can’t give people advice on how to be sexy which she did last week at the Moscone Center as reported on here by SF Unzipped.
- 100 Arrested in Bay Area Prostitution Sting. As SF voters try to decide whether or not to decriminalize prostitution, the Bay Area was hit with a nationwide FBI sting that arrested prostitues on street corners and Craigslist posts. (Via SFist)
- Vote for Joy. This is one of many articles out there right now that are encouraging people to vote no on 8 (which you should) but it’s better than many of them because of the personal content that it puts forth. It’s all about how great gay weddings are because they’re about joy instead of tradition and obligation and brings up some really great points about what a marriage should really be about.
- Odile Odette. This up-and-coming fashion brand is profiled by SF Indie Fashion in a piece that includes pics of the sexy clothes that are coming out of the line for fall.
- Obtained. Awesome SF sex blogger Violet Blue posted earlier this week that she had obtained a pair of hot heels that she’d been pining over. I happened to have seen the same style in the storefront window of Daljeets in The Haight last weekend and am thrilled that hot girls are out there wearing them.
- How to Make Love Like a Zombie. Violet Blue also had a great Halloween-timed article at SF Gate this week about the sexiness of zombie flash mobs and zombie movies. The “hot zombie” was also listed as a last minute costume idea on the Heartless Doll post of 10 last minute costumes and what they say about you.
- Where the Hell’s My Screaming Orgasm? This MenuPages post may be unfavorable for the sushi restaurant that it’s about but it does point out that you can order a “sexy roll” or a “screaming orgasm” so it kind of tempts you to go there anyway doesn’t it? Their menu also includes a “heaven roll” and a H.O.T. roll”.
- MILK premiere photos. Photo blog post from 7×7 of all of the hot people who showed up for the premier of the important new movie filmed here.
- Inside this year’s masked ball @ SFLuxe. This is another photo post of hot people at an event in San Francisco. What I’m really loving here, though, is Pamela Joyner’s amazingly sexy red dress. Guess she knew about the whole “Lady in Red” thing (see above).
