The rain has started. It’s going to continue off and on for awhile now so we might as well embrace the fact that it’s here right? It might not always be pleasant to venture out into the rain but it’s not all bad. There are some totally sexy things that you can do here when it’s raining. Anything that is indoors and cozy and can be done with a hot partner is something that is fun to do when it’s raining out.

Five suggestions for sexy things to do here in the rain are:

1. Get a warm winter drink. Many of the bars in San Francisco do winter cocktails that are designed to bring out the romance of the cold wet weather. My favorite is the Spanish Coffee at Absinthe which is a cinnamon-sugar rimmed hot drink that packs more punch than it tastes like it does going down. Yum! And even though Absinthe is kind of pricy it’s worth the cost of the ambience for just one drink. And if you’re in the mood to spend a little then splurge on the oysters here for a real aphrodisiac.
2. Go to a cuddle party. Join a group of people who just want to cuddle up and stay warm together! Or if you’re interested in more than cuddling then sign up to check out a private party at a place like Kinky Salon.
3. Soak in the hot tubs. Drag yourself out in the rain to meet a partner at the hot tubs for an hour. Do whatever you want to do while you stay warm together! Alternatives to this are to enjoy a sexy day on your own over at Kabuki or to take a romantic weekend to getaway up at Harbin Hot Springs.
4. Go to a sexy movie theatre. There are so many wonderful movie theaters in this city. Check out the Kabuki theatre or the Red Vic or the Castro Theater with someone you’d love to spend a few hours next to in the dark. You’ll probably forget that it’s raining outside.
5. Go for a long drive down the coast. The rain is dramatic. It’s wild. It’s passionate. And the ocean gets even more dramatic in the rain. It might not be a great time of year for hiking (that comes soon though since the rain is making all of our waterfall trails so awesome) but it’s a great time of year for going on a long drive with someone. Get a Zipcar and take off for a few hours with nothing but a lover and the open road.
