Sexiest Films at the International Film Festival
Today is the first day of one of San Francisco’s sexiest annual events: the San Francisco International Film Festival. Sure, this isn’t one of the steamiest and sultriest annual events of the year but there are some sexy films scattered here and there througout the event that you may want to check out and they’re at the city’s sexiest theatres like the Castro Theatre and Kabuki Theatre.
Check out the following sexy films:
- Unmade Beds. This is the closing night film and its followed by an afterparty at Mezzanine. The movie is summed up as a film ”where unbridled longing and zeal plunge nubile expats into lusty adventures and momentous encounters”.
- Claustrophobia. This is the story of an office romance but what’s appealing about it is that there’s this teasing mystery throughout the movie about whether the romance in question did or didn’t take place.
- Delta. This is the controversial story of a long lost brother and sister who get reunited and who may be engaging in a totally inappropriate relationship.
- Hooked. Another compelling story lies in this one in which a couple runs over a prostitute who ends up living and torturing them with her seductive ways.
- Heaven’s Heart. The sole subject of this film is the topic of infidelity.
- City of Borders. This documentary about the only gay bar in Jerusalem looks like it has a lot of interesting things to say about living on the boundaries between different worlds.
- Go Go 70s. This looks fun. It’s about a Korean soul group from the 1970’s who gained attention after a sexy go go dancer joined the group.
- The Paranoids. This looks like your basic story of a guy struggling and failing with not sleeping with his best friend’s girlfriend but it could have some twists.
- Le Amiche. This is a digitally remastered version of an old film from the 1960’s about a group of strong upperclass Italian housewives.
- Nights of Cabiria. Another old one is this story of a prostitute named Cabiria.
The fetsival starts today (with a big kickoff party tonight at the Castro Theatre) and runs through May 7th with over 200 films available to see. Tickets vary in price depending on what you want to see.
