Things just always sound so much sexier in French don’t they? If you’re in the mood for a bit of the romance of Paris then perhaps you should wander your way over to The Red Vic either tomorrow or Monday to see 2 ou 3 choses que je sais d’elle (2 or 3 Things I Know About Her), a film from the ’60s about prostitution and pop culture.
The movie makes a big statement about the politics and poverty of Paris at the time but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s about a woman who becomes a hooker. And the old film reel has been retouched to look eye-catching.
Plus it’s always great to see movies at The Red Vic. The seats are cozy. The room is intimate. The films feel fancier somehow than when you see them somewhere else. The movies here only stay on for a day or two so if this one catches your eye then now is your chance.
