Fresh Images from San Francisco’s Sexy Past
Earlier this month I posted an old photo from the 1970’s of the Transamerica Pyramid as it was being erected. That photo came from the archives of SF Images which has a whole collection of photos that come from San Francisco’s history. They were purchased at auctions and collected over the years then they were remastered to bring them back to modern day beauty.
Another great example from that collection is this image from New Year’s Eve 1978:
It’s a photo of two women dancing together. You would never know it but it was originally a black and white image. It was then hand-tinted to add in all that sexy luxurious color. You can see this photo and others in the photostream on Flickr.
