Get Discounts on Sexy San Francisco Events

I’m all for spending money on sexy arts events in San Francisco (or non-sexy arts events that interest me for that matter). I believe it’s important to support the local arts scene and it’s something I’m definitely willing to invest in. But if I can get a deal then I won’t hesitate to get a deal. The way I see it, this allows me to be able to attend more events which I can then spread the word about.

I just recently learned about one option for saving money on tickets to events. It’s through a site called Goldstar which combines discounted tickets with a sort of social networking system for reviewing the events that you see. Basically, you sign up for a free membership and this allows you to get email information about different events including information about discounted tickets that are available.

When you’re on the site, you can go ahead and review what you’ve seen. You can read the reviews others have given. And you can do some basic social networking related to voting for or against the reviews that people are posting. I’ve only just started using it but it seems like a cool way to share information about local stuff that’s going on. And it keeps track of the events that you’re going to and have been to so it’s also a cool way to kind of track what you’re doing.

Examples of sexy events that I see offered at a discount on the site just at first glance include roller derby games, Beach Blanket Babylon, and ”pop song parodies and comedy from drag artist lady bunny”. I’m sure there’s tons more that I’ll find that I want to do once I get a chance to really go through the site.
