Every year in May there is something in San Francisco called the Masturbate-a-thon which, yes, is exactly what it sounds like. To prepare for this event, there is a preliminary event this weekend which is called the Jack and Jill Off.

The Jack and Jill Off is a group get-together of people from various orientations and sexual proclivities who get together in a safe shared space to masturbate. It is all about the art of self-pleasure in a communal setting.

You go to the event, check your clothes at the door and get ready to participate in the celebration of masturbation. Lube, water and gloves will be provided to you but you’re welcome to bring your own toys and towels.

Safety is super important when it comes to any kind of sex. This is a respect-each-other kind of space and it’s about self-play not shared play.

The event benefits the Center for Sex and Culture, a great educational and entertainment space in our community. Cost for the Jack and Jill Off depends on your gender and is on a sliding scale starting at $5 for women, $5 for transgender individuals, $20 for men and $30 for couples. (Yes, the two of you can come together.)

It’s happening this Sunday, March 1st starting at 4:30 pm. Advance RSVP is required at [email protected] - that’s the only way you’re getting the location of the event.
