Saturday’s Sexy Seven (Things to Do in SF)

Once again Saturday is here. And every Saturday in San Francisco, you can find at least seven sexy things to do. If you don’t want to search for those things yourself, don’t worry. You can come to this blog and find them listed here each week.

Here are the listings for today:

  1. Does This Piano Make My Ass Look Big? Burlesque / cabaret star Kitten on the Keys is featured at this show which is happening at Mama Calizo’s Voice Factory. She’s not the only one who will be at this big burlesque and music party though - local stars who will be performing include Alotta Boutte, SF Boylesque, Fou Fou Ha!, Lady Monster, Lady Satan, Simone de la Ghetto and even some of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. It’s only ten bucks and it starts at 8 tonight.
  2. Unseen / Unsaid. This art performance event looks like it’s going to be really interesting. Numerous artists have come together to create pieces around the theme of saying what isn’t supposed to be said. The Hottentot Venus is one example of a subject being tackled tonight. It’s a four hour event that costs ten bucks and is happening at Climate Theatre starting at eight.
  3. Fauxgirls. This is one of the longest-running drag shows in San Francisco and it’s considered to be one of the best. It’s been going on for about eight years now and you can find it tonight at ten at Kimo’s Penthouse Lounge on Polk and Pine. It only happens once a month and it’s that time again. And guess what? It’s free.
  4. Aqua: Upscale Underwater Party. Perhaps the dives on Polk aren’t what you consider sexy? Maybe an ultra-elite, upscale underwater themed dance party at a two-level lounge with a see-through dance floor upstairs is more your style? The party is happening tonight at Mist and it’s free for anyone who has a February birthday.
  5. The Art of Restraint at Femina Potens. Bondage as artwork is what you’ll find here where exquisitely bound submissive models are on display. There’s sensuality in every corner - expect to be fed dark chocolate, strawberries and champagne while you mingle with well known bondage artists including Two Knotty Boys and Midori. Doors open at 7:30 and tickets are $50 because this is a fundraiser event for the cutting edge gallery.
  6. I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. This is a musical comedy all about relationships - a flirty kidn of sexy event that might make your Saturday night a little bit more lively. It’s put on by Ray of Light Theatre, the show starts at 8 and tickets are less than $30.
  7. Circus Finelli. An all-female cast of clowns performs in this fun event that combines pieces of American Vaudeville and European Circus acts. There’s juggling and contortionist stuff and shadow dancing and insinutation. It’s the kind of event that is all about having flirty fun and enjoying laughter. It happens at StageWerx tonight at 8 and costs $20. This one comes recommended by me - see a full review of the show on this site later today.

And a bonus one for this weekend: Pole Dancing Weekend Workshop. Not doing anything else this weekend? Maybe it’s finally time to learn how to pole dance. Slinky Productions is putting on a weekend workshop class that’s today and tomorrow from 2-4. These classes fill up quickly and there’s currently a wait list but it may be worth a call to see if there’s room for you. Cost is $126.

Which of these things are you going to do this Saturday?
