Over at Good Vibes in February

Any day is a good day to head over to Good Vibrations. You can pick up some erotica, browse through the new toys or spice up a lazy afternoon with a lover. But there are some days that are better than others to make your way to this adult store because there are some days when you can also enjoy after-hours workshops in sex, sexy art openings and literary erotica readings.

Here’s the info on what’s going on at both the Polk Street and Valencia Street Good Vibes stores in the month of February:

  • Girl-Girl Tricks for Men Workshop. The month starts off tonight with something steamy - a class for men who want to learn how to please a women by learning the best there is to know about lesbian sex. This is a two part class that statrs from 8-10 tonight and finishes up from 8-10 on February 17th. Tickets are $30 for one class, $50 for both classes and the classes are being held at the Polk Street store.
  • Red Hot Romance 101 Workshop. Learn the art of seduction and sexiness in the bedroom. This class is February 4th from 8-10 at the Valencia Street store. It costs $30 to attend.
  • Sexy Valentine’s Erotica Reading. The week before Valentine’s Day, you can treat yourself to some titillation by going to hear a variety of erotica authors read from their works. It’s a free event from 6:30 - 7:30 at the Polk Street store.
  • Lesbian Tantra Workshop. The Girl-Girl tricks class earlier in the month was for men only so it’s only appropriate to have a women only class as well. This one is all about the art of tantra. Come alone for $30 or come with a partner for $50; pun intended. It’s on February 18th from 8-10 at the Valencia store.
  • Give Spanks Workshop. Want to learn how to include spanking in your sexual repertoire? Learn from the best. It’s on February 25th from 8-10 at the Valencia Store for $30.
  • Assume the Positions: Doctors Panel. Ask all of the questions that you have to ask about sexual positions. Learn how to use different sex props and get a chance to win some. The event is free at the Polk Street store from 6:30 to 7:30 on February 26th.
  • April Flores DVD Signing. If you were a fan of either Glamazons or Voluptuous Biker Babes (or just think you could have been) then go to the DVD signing party which includes a DJ and other fun stuff. It’s on the last day of the month from 6-8 at the Valencia Street Store and it should be free to attend.

In addition to these events, there are some events over at the Berkeley store for those people who don’t mind trekking to the East Bay. It may be worth it since those events include Carol Queen talking about multi-orgasmic sex on February 6th and introductory bondage class on the 16th.
