8 More Sexy SF Etsy Shops
I’m a big fan of buying local and supporting local artists but I’m also a big fan of online shopping. These things don’t always go hand in hand but they certainly can. It’s made a lot easier by Etsy which allows crafters and artists to set up their own online storefronts and which makes it easy for shoppers to sort those storefronts by location to choose those artists close to them.
Since San Francisco is such a creative place, it’s not surprising that there are tons of SF-based Etsy storefronts. Back in October I took a look at 8 Sexy San Francisco Etsy Shops. But arts and crafts are updated quickly so it’s high time to add more sexy San Francisco Etsy stores to this blog. Here they are:
1. Bliss Jewelry. This is a cool Etsy shop set up by two sisters - one who is more on the romantic side of sexy and one who is more on the edgy side of sexy. The result is a lot of sexy jewelry with my personal favorite being some of the unique pieces that incorporate feathers into their designs like the feather enhanced rose necklace seen below or the feather headband here.
2. Bonjour Teaspoon. There’s something perfectly flirty about the line of recycled pillows that has gained recent attention for this Etsy store (attention from cool online spots like Poppytalk, Pretty Fab and Apartment Therapy’s re-nest). They’re green because they are made from sweaters and jackets discovered in vintage stores and repurposed. The designer of these pillows-that-you-want-to-lay-down-with is Bay Area baby Jennifer Serr who is also a couture bridal gown designer who makes wedding days stylishly sexy with her sewing skills.
3. Herban Devi. The one-of-a-kind fashions made by this talented designer are sexy in every way. They’re cut sexy. They have the right sexy silhouettes. And they are creative enough to make you realize that the artist knows that sexy means different things to different people and can accommodate the requests of different types of sexy clients. I am particularly a fan of the Dancehall Queen Jumpsuit shown below but I also quite love this Dreamcatcher Tunic.
4. Michelle Gonella. There isn’t a lot of info on the Etsy shop about this artist but there are still some sexy works of art to see here. My personal favorite is the handpainted peacock shelf that’s detailed below. That would absolutely sexy up the room where it was hung! But there are also some hot vintage jewelry pieces over at this store.
5. Crumbs on the Sheets. This is a genius little store of totally sex-filled stuff that somehow manages to come across as simply sweet. I mean, just take a look at the two-sided “screw me silly / dream on” pillowcase below and you can see that somehow it just looks way more innocent than it is. Likewise with the “thanks for the orgasm” micro-doilies.
6. LaurenLaMay. I have finally come to accept that San Francisco requires layers and that therefore I must learn to like scarves. I’ve also started to find some scarves even a little bit sexy. And that’s exactly the word I’d use to describe the scarves over at this shop. They’re also really creative with many being made from socks!
7. J.Z. Roszell. This mixed media artist has some great romantic pieces that make great note cards and stationery pieces. The artist’s website also has some cool San Francisco paintings which might have biased me into loving the store.
8. Rose La Biche. This full-time Etsy seller has a collection of nature-inspired-but-still-urban T-shirts that are tight and stretchy and totally sexy but my favorite piece is this flirty hoodie:

My name is Steve Javiel and I am an abstract artist working out of San Francisco. Most of my work is non-representational due to my attraction to color, shape, form and texture. The textured walls, graffiti, and posters of the urban streets of San Francisco where I walk everyday have been a large influence on my own painting style.
Though my style can be generally hard edged, rough and dirty, I also have a softer side and a passion for crafts. What can I say; I love creating and trying new things. I am always trying to push myself to step outside my comfort zone and explore my capabilities.
I remember when I was younger I used to create Holiday cards for my mother and now I’m trying to take my creativity to the next level.
I got this idea in my head and I’m finally taking action. Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner I figured I would create something that had to do with this special occasion.
I have created an assortment of hearts made out of illustrated rocks on clayboard. These hearts are formed by the rocks, which are holding each other up and together. To me this symbolizes the strength and power of love. This could be a special gift for your sibling, mother or father, your child, grandparent, spouse, girlfriend or boyfriend, cousin, aunt or uncle. Pretty much anyone you would consider special.
These original pieces of art are something different from your ordinary card for Valentine’s Days. It’s something truly personal that your loved ones can hang on their wall or just display and can be admired year round. These pieces were hand made and that’s what makes it special.
These piece were created using Mylar, acrylic, pen on thick Clayboard Panel measuring in size at 4”x4” and 1 ½ Inches thick.

These miniature accordion books/cards are pieces I’ve created in addition to my Heart Series. Its something special you can give to your loved ones and it’s a piece that they will remember. I’m trying to create a variety of ways for someone to express their love for their loved ones. The beauty of these pieces is that though they are tiny, they carry a powerful message. They are hand made pieces that can be given to any loved one at any time of the year and with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, these would make perfect gifts.
