The Good Vibrations events calendar is one of the first places that I check when I want to find out what sexy things are going on in the city. From literary readings of hot erotica to classes in everything from fellatio to go go dancing, there’s always something intriguing and sexy happening at either the Polk Street or Valencia Street store. A quick glance through the upcoming calendar informed that there are two parties and one art opening being hosted at the stores before the end of this month.

The first party that’s coming up is happening this Saturday, December 6th at the Valencia Street location. It’s the Accordion Babes Calendar and CD Release Party . If you’ve never thought that the accordion was among the top sexiest instruments in the musical world then you might want to open yourself up after changing your mind because that’s what’s going to happen when you see what these accordion-playing ladies look like in their pin-up style calendar. Each of the ladies really does play the accordion as evidenced by the selections on their CD. Original, creative, innovative … and hot! The party has got to be a fun one!

If you already have plans on Saturday or you’re going to be ready for yet another party by the time next Thursday the 11th rolls around then you should know that the Accordion Girls will be back at the Valencia Store will for a “prohibition party” that starts at 9 on the 11th. This party is a bigger event with live jazz music and performances by some of the Lusty Lady ladies. The opening night party is free but this one is a $10 cover.

One week following the Prohibition Party, on Thursday December 18th, you also have the chance to check out an art opening reception by a hot local photographer. This one is over at the Polk Street store and is free to attend. The artist is Karima Cherif. Her niche in the photography world is the artistic creation of elaborate underwater photography scenes. Her work has been displayed in erotic art museums around the world and has won the Best Of Hustler’s Taboo award. Now it’ll be seen at Good Vibes with a kickoff party that sounds worth checking out.
