Etsy is an online marketplace where you can buy or sell handmade and vintage items. There are tons of great Etsy shops from artists and designers from all sorts of different locations but it’s really no surprise that there are some great shops that are specifically from SF artists. After all, this city is conducive to both creativity and entrepreneurship.

Here are 8 Etsy shops that are selling sexy things by SF artists and designers:

1. 20th Century Finds. This is a vintage shop selling various items from the 1940’s, 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s. Favorite pieces of mine that are on sale at the moment are a vintage Christian Dior garter belt and this Diva Feather Boa.

2. Soap. This is a bath and body products store. You can’t tell me that it’s not sexy to use body products that are designed to be sensual. Particularly great for this time of year is the Pumpkin Pie Lip Lube in a Tube but there are plenty of other products to indulge in here as well. Below is the store’s Virgin Vegan lip color.

3. Dirty Birdy Vintage. Another vintage clothing shop but the really great and unique thing about this one is that so much of the stuff being sold here is affordable like this sexy vintage coat that costs less than $50:

4.  Tina Tarnoff. This local artist has an Etsy shop of her papercut art that are absolutely beautiful. Some of my favorites are Being Isadora (below) and Girl on a Swing.

5. Nickie Frye. This store has all sorts of different vintage stuff. What’s really sexy, though, is the photography that’s used to show off the different items that are on sale here. Take, for example, the photo below which is of a New Wave Belt for sale; aren’t those close-up curves and colors just luscious?

6. DJamesDesigns. This jewelry store is filled with the kind of jewelry that makes you feel sexy as soon as you put it on. There are lots of different styles here to suit different types of sexiness but my favorite is the “creamy dreamy lustrous pearls” below.

7. OctopusME. This has got to be the most unique store that I’ve seen on Etsy so far. It’s a jewelry store where the jewelry is apparently made from Octopus. There’s something a little bit creepy about that but there’s also something really intriguing and mysterious and kind of sexy about it too. Those textures and curves are just kind of tasty.

8. Ashes and Empires. This store has made-to-order spats which look like they would sexy up the legs of anyone who was going to wear them.
