I haven’t yet solidifed my own plans for the night but I’m hoping that I’m going to be able to make it over to the Stagewerx Theatre to see the monthly performance by Bombshell Betty’s Burlesqueteers.

There are a few different burlesque troops in San Francisco which are worth a mention (and which will get a mention on this blog soon since I’m compiling a post featuring all of them) but Bombshell Betty really stands out.

She’s a burlesque performer who teaches a variety of different classes related to burlesque including burlesquercise classes and pinup hair / make-up classes. I’ve seen performances by the Bombshell Betty performers in the past and have always been appropriately wowed by the good time that I had.

This particular performance happens every last Wednesday of the month. According to the website there are classroom-themed skits including grunge cheerleaders and a sexy janitor. Sounds luscious, doesn’t it?

Incidentally, Bombshell Betty will be at some of next week’s Tease-o-Rama events so be sure to also catch her and some of her performers there.
