My Sexy San Francisco Valentine’s Day
Despite having a terrible cold that ultimately landed me in the hospital for a few hours, I decided to venture out on Valentine’s Day to partake of some of the sexy happenings that were going on around San Francisco. It had just been far too long since I’d gone to any sexy events in the city and Saturday felt like a good night to change that. I kept the activities low key and in the realm of passive entertainment but still managed to easily check out two sexy San Francisco Valentine’s events and still get home by midnight.
The first stop was the Nude Art Show at Space Gallery. What better way to get in a sexy mood than to take in the eye candy of a whole gallery of multi-artist, multi-medium artwork? Drawings and paintings of various types of naked art hung on every spare space of the two-floor gallery. Marni Mutrux, a terrific local artist that I’ve been meaning to interview for awhile, had several hot pieces on display. Plus there were several suggestive photographers and one metal-art painter who had really great figurative pieces in this show. (Names to follow shortly; I neglected to bring my notes with me today.)
I didn’t stay long at the gallery opening so I missed out on a lot of the hot entertainment that was promised but I do think the art was worth stopping in and taking a look at. I believe the art is hanging for a little while (the next reception there is on Feburary 20th) but I’m not positive about that, I do know that there are two other multi-artist sexy art exhibits still up for another week or so - Pin It Up Babycakes at Minna and the Annual Erotic Art Show at City Art - both of which I’m hoping to check out before they’re over.
From Space Gallery, we wandered up the street a couple of blocks to check out the SpookShowAGoGo burlesque show at Kimo’s. This was an anti-Valentine’s Day burlesque performance put on by Dottie Lux and Val Killmore. Killmore created a spooky sexy all-female-cast cannibal lust film that aired at the start of the show to set the mood. Performances were by several well-known burlesque gals including Kitten on the Keys, Lady Satan and Alotta Boutte.
Boutte stole the show for me with a skit about pleasing your man during which she managed to pull handcuffs, a long rope, a fairly large whip and some other random things out of her cleavage although you couldn’t tell beforehand that she had anything other than her breasts in that tightly curved dress of hers. Surprise is always a great sexy element for any show.
The burlesque performance also included monster-themed DJ music by Miz Margo, wacky go go dancing fun from Honny Penny and Ruby White and free chocolates on the tables for the viewers. I did learn the rough lesson that you should definitely request good vodka at Kimo’s - whatever they use for well vodka is really scary bad - but other than that it was a perfectly fun night with lots of different kinds of sexiness to enjoy.
