Last week I took the chance to go over to Club Deluxe to see Little Minsky’s Burlesque performance. There were several performers who grabbed my attention including the final performer there, Mariel a la Mode. This petite girl with the too-cute face looks a lot like a doll but her sexy edge makes you think of those nasty positions you put your dolls in when you were supposed to be playing nicely with friends.

Since she caught my interest, I found her MySpace page where a glance at her upcoming performances told me about the Nerve. com burlesque party that is happening here in San Francisco tomorrow at The Ambassador on Geary.

I haven’t been able to find too much info about this show. However, from the looks of it, a similar burlesque party was thrown in New York last month (which is where the above photo came from) and got rave reviews from the people who attended. I’m guessing that the same thing will be true of the one that’s happening here tomorrow. At the very least, we know that oh-so-cute Mariel a la Mode will be there which seems to be a sweet treat in itself.
